Gears for Queers is our first book, published June 2020. It is the story of our first long distance cycle tour across Europe and of our relationship, the challenges we faced as a queer disabled couple and of the joy of cycling. Abi made the trailer below to celebrate it’s launch.

Where can I get a copy?

We’d prefer it if you bought a copy of Gears for Queers from a local, independent bookseller, straight from us on this website, or if you borrowed it from you local library (or a mate!)

However we know this isn’t an option for everyone, so below you can find links to some of the larger booksellers, as well as a link to our book on Sandstone Press (our publishers) site and a link to check out our reviews on Goodreads.

If you’d like to buy a copy through an independent bookseller, but don’t know where to start, check out this incredible map of independent booksellers around the world.

What People Are Saying

“There are some very funny moments, as well as times when I felt myself tearing up - I don't know either of the authors from Adam, but it made me feel like we were sat sharing a portion of chips whilst they took it in turns to tell me about their trip. I would highly recommended it, and I really hope they do more tours and write more books!”

— Katie Gillingham

“Bloody loved every minute of it and I am absolutely raring to get out on a tour of my own now.”

— Mildred

“I am extremely pleased and grateful to them for opening up my mind to something totally different. I await their next journey with bated breath!!.”
